Zoe Kalos
Clinical Psychology Registrar
Zoe is committed to creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. With a trauma-informed approach at the core of her practice, she recognises and respects the impact that past experiences can have on present-day well-being. Zoe’s goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate their unique journey. She takes a person-centred approach, working collaboratively with clients to explore individual strengths, values, and goals. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and views it as a cornerstone for healing and growth. Zoe focuses on psychological flexibility—building the tools and resilience needed to face life’s challenges with more clarity, acceptance, and self-compassion. She is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ communities. Zoe is dedicated to creating an inclusive, culturally safe, and affirming space.
Zoe integrates evidence-based practices to offer tailored treatment that draws from a variety
of therapeutic modalities, ensuring the approach is guided by the client’s needs. This includes
tools and techniques from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative

treatment to best suit the individual needs. Throughout her career, Zoe has gained a breadth
of experience working within both community and health organisations, providing support to
individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and life experiences. Her work has
