With a background of over 25 years’ experience in corporate food manufacturing, Karen draws on strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure you receive a thorough assessment and tailored treatment plan.
Karen has worked in private practice and schools and has experience working with a variety of concerns for children, adolescents and adults, such as anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, body image disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma, grief, menopause and domestic violence. She has a particular interest in eating disorders and supporting women through the perimenopause and menopause. Karen is trained in CBT, ACT, CBT-E and Maudsley Family Therapy.
Karen can also conduct a broad range of psychometric assessments for intellectual, emotional and social difficulties – including cognitive assessments, academic assessments, and diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Specific Learning Disorders.
