Jen is a compassionate and highly skilled registered psychologist with years of experience providing clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. With expertise across private and public health services, Jen is dedicated to offering a safe, supportive environment for individuals facing challenges related to eating concerns, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.

Jen has a deep passion for helping individuals discover their innate strengths, fostering motivation, and facilitating lasting change. With a proven track record of supporting clients to overcome ambivalence to change, Jen is especially experienced in working with those struggling with eating disorders, including Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Anorexia Nervosa (AN), and Bulimia Nervosa (BN). She also provides treatment for anxiety, depression, self-worth issues, and relationship concerns, fertility concerns and adjustment concerns, including adjustment to parenthood.

Jen’s therapeutic approach focuses on all aspects of health, helping clients understand how eating concerns can impede their ability to live a life aligned with their values. She also addresses the role of body image concerns, assisting individuals in breaking free from the societal pressures and unrealistic expectations that contribute to distorted self-image.

With a particular focus on women, Jen integrates evidence-based therapies with a secure therapeutic relationship, creating a strong foundation for change. Jen is an ANZAED Eating Disorder Credentialed Clinician, reflecting her specialised expertise and extensive training in the treatment of eating disorders.
Extensive Clinical Experience and Contributions
Jen has worked extensively at Northside Clinic, where she contributed to the development of their eating disorders day program and inpatient treatment services. In 2018, Jen and her colleague Rebecca rewrote the group psychology program for the inpatient eating disorders unit, enhancing the quality of care for individuals in their recovery journey.
In addition to her clinical work, Jen has taught at Macquarie University in the Masters of Professional Psychology program. She has covered topics including counselling and narrative therapy techniques, ethical issues in psychology, and provided small group supervision for students.
