Emma offers an empathetic and supportive therapeutic space, prioritising a collaborative approach that honours each person’s unique experience. She works closely with clients to understand their individual needs, using evidence-based practices to help them develop effective coping strategies and to build resilience.
Emma has experience working in both government and community-based roles, and working alongside adolescents and adults. She has worked with a diverse range of issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, personality disorders, and self-harming behaviours.
Emma customises treatment for each individual, incorporating techniques and strategies from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Emma completed her Master of Professional Psychology at Western Sydney University.
