Daniel Herman

Clinical Psychologist

Daniel is a psychologist and psychotherapist with more than 10 years’ experience helping people across a wide variety of difficulties. He specialises in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety and depression. Daniel also has experience working with people experiencing difficulties such as interpersonal and relationship problems, low self-esteem, substance use and addictive behaviours, abuse and trauma, sexuality, grief and bereavement.

Daniel works from a supportive, non-judgmental approach and believes in collaboratively tailoring therapy to an individual’s needs, personality style, and unique goals. He combines his clinical psychology and psychotherapy training to support clients in becoming more aware of how they think, feel and act in the present moment; with the aim of providing insight into ways in which they can alleviate their current issues and distress in order to achieve personal growth and aspire to their full potential.
Daniel practices cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), and gestalt psychotherapy (a holistic, person-centred approach).
