Clinical Psychology Registrar
Amy is an empathetic and client-centred psychologist. She is committed to helping people work towards their mental health and wellbeing goals. Amy creates a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to feel supported and heard.
Amy works collaboratively and tailors therapy to meet the needs of each individual. She integrates different evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)-informed strategies, interpersonal therapy (IPT), as well as family-based therapy (FBT) and behavioural family intervention.
Amy has clinical experience working with young people and adults facing difficulties with anxiety, social anxiety, depression, eating disorders, perfectionism, workplace burnout, and child behaviour concerns.
Amy completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney, and is currently completing her PhD with a focus on the intolerance of uncertainty and attention. Amy is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT).
