Aarthi is a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in both community and inpatient settings within the public health system. She adopts a collaborative, flexible, and genuine approach, acknowledging the courage it takes to engage in therapy. Aarthi strives to create a warm, supportive environment that fosters vulnerability and change, partnering with each client to navigate their unique journey toward well-being.
Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapy
Aarthi has a special focus on working with children and their families, empowering parents and carers to support their children’s emotional and behavioral development. She helps families address emotional difficulties, behavioral challenges, and mental health concerns using evidence-based therapies. Aarthi is a Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, using an attachment-based framework to help parents strengthen their relationships with their children and support them through challenging moments.
In her work with children, Aarthi partners closely with parents to provide strategies for managing difficult behaviors and promoting emotional resilience. She strongly believes that involving parents is crucial for creating lasting change in children’s lives.
Expertise in Anxiety, Depression, and Stress Management
Aarthi also has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and interpersonal challenges. She draws from a variety of therapeutic frameworks, including Systemic Family Therapy, Parent Management Training, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Attachment-Based Family Therapy. Aarthi tailors her approach to best suit the individual needs of her clients, ensuring effective treatment and a personalized experience.

Aarthi is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Board-approved supervisor for Registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars. She is committed to ongoing professional development and providing high-quality supervision and support to emerging psychologists.
