Rebecca – Clinical Psychologist with expertise in Eating Disorders, PTSD and Complex PTSD, Anxiety and Depression
Rebecca (she/her) has over 10 years of experience working across clinical and research settings in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, including specialist inpatient and outpatient services.
Rebecca is particularly passionate about working with adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns, as well as PTSD and complex PTSD. She has a particular interest in Schema Therapy and EMDR and their use in helping clients understand longstanding patterns and process difficult or traumatic experiences. Rebecca also has a strong interest in working with anxiety and depression, and with difficulties relating to self-esteem, managing emotions and relationships.
Rebecca is an empathetic and genuine clinician who aims for clients to feel understood and fully seen, creating space for deeper exploration of their experiences, emotions and patterns. She balances this with practical skills and strategies. Rebecca offers support and validation alongside challenge, empowering clients to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Therapeutic Approaches
Rebecca works collaboratively and tailors therapy to each client’s individual needs, preferences and goals. She has a particular interest in Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and also draws on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). In her work with eating disorders, Rebecca is trained in specialist approaches including Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM). Rebecca also has a strong interest in the connection between mind and body. She is a trained yoga teacher and certified Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) Facilitator. Where clients are interested, she can integrate yoga based and body-awareness practices alongside psychological therapy to support greater awareness of and connection with their body.

- Master’s in Developmental Psychology
- Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200)
- Certified Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY)
- Psychology Board of Australia-approved Supervisor – Rebecca provides eating disorder supervision to psychologists and other health professionals.
