Yoni is a provisional psychologist completing his Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the Australian Catholic University. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society’s Clinical College and the Australian Clinical Psychologists Association.
Yoni has a gentle, warm and supportive style and is committed to helping his clients experience meaningful and sustainable change in their lives. He has experience working in community mental health with culturally diverse populations and a broad range of presentations including anxiety and depressive disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, chronic pain and psychotic disorders. Yoni has a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety, mood and behavioural disorders.
Yoni works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach while combining principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT). Yoni is also able to deliver introductions to mindfulness training and anxiety management. He is available for Telehealth consultations and a low cost option for clients.
