Clinical Psychology Registrar

Ursula brings a wealth of clinical experience from diverse public, private, and community settings, where she has used her warmth and compassion to deliver client-centred care. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with various issues, including eating disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, personality disorders, stress, trauma, psychosis, substance use, adjustment disorders, somatic symptom disorders, and chronic pain.

Dedicated to creating a collaborative, safe, and empowering treatment environment, Ursula ensures clients feel comfortable while jointly working towards meaningful treatment goals. She works from a strengths-based perspective and draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Family-Based Therapy (FBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM).

Ursula’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Newcastle. She is a Member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders and holds Associate Membership with the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
