Kristie approaches therapy with warmth and empathy, understanding that seeking help can be a vulnerable and courageous step. She believes in building a strong therapeutic partnership, working side by side with clients to understand their unique experiences and challenges. Through a collaborative approach, Kristie empowers individuals and families to navigate life’s difficulties and supports them in finding meaningful solutions that promote growth, resilience, and fulfilment.

Kristie has years of clinical experience working across public health, non-government and educational settings.  Kristie enjoys supporting clients across the lifespan. She has a wealth of experience supporting children, teens and families with complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. She uses a systemic approach drawing on principles from attachment theory and parent management training. When working with children, Kristie believes in partnering with parents and caregivers to create lasting changes. 

Kristie also has experience supporting adults overcome difficulties including life stage transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. She prioritises working collaboratively and offers treatment that integrates interventions from a range of evidence based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT).

Kristie is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney and has a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Macquarie University. Kristie is also an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University, a Board-approved supervisor, and has published in multiple peer reviewed scientific journals.
