Bre is a warm and approachable psychologist. She has experience working across the lifespan, including supporting primary and secondary school-aged children and young adults. Bre has experience working in school settings, hospitals, private practice and non-for-profit organisations. She currently holds memberships with the Australian Clinical Psychology Association and completed her masters at the University of Wollongong.

Bre’s approach is collaborative and non-directive. She is curious to understand and empower individuals. Bre focuses on developing a strong therapeutic alliance and ensuring that the client feels heard, respected, and understood. She enjoys bringing a sense of humour and play into sessions with young children. She is trauma informed and non-judgemental of each person’s journey.

Bre ensures that the therapeutic approach is a good fit for the individual but works primarily from the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical behaviour therapy (CBT) framework. She also draws on Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Attachment and Narrative Therapy based strategies.

Bre has experience supporting children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem, and adjustment issues. Bre is passionate about working with parents, including those in the peri-natal phase. She is trained in the parenting program, Confident Carers Cooperative Kids (CCCK). Bre is passionate about using the client’s resources around them and welcomes parents and families into sessions.

Medicare rebate : $89.65

Available Tuesdays & Thursdays and able to see clients under MHCPs.
